Peter has produced a strong weekend at the Victorian Open, his final two rounds a combined seven under on the testing Spring Valley layout moving him to a share of 4th position at the completion of the event.

"I had a great chance to put in a low one today," said Peter this evening. "Three putting the 13th and 16th then dropping a shot from just 100 yards or so out at the last left a bit of a nasty taste in the mouth but overall the week was ok."

After an early bogey yesterday, Peter produced eleven birdies over the weekend and now heads to Kingston Heath on Tuesday for the Australasian version of International Final Qualifying at this year's Open Championship to be staged at Royal Lytham & St Annes in Blackpool.

At Final Qualifying 47 players will tee it up over 36 holes chasing one of the three places available at the Open Championship.
