Starting at the 10th hole today, on a golf course which he has always enjoyed, Peter rode a roller coaster through the front nine with three birdies, missed two more very makeable chances, took a double at the 14th and bogeyed the 16th and 17th. He made the turn in one over par 36 but after his opening round of 75 on Thursday he was five shots from the cut line with nine holes to play. Two bogeys and a double at his 16th hole after four putting the short par four was indicative of an ordinary two days and he will now head to Boston for next week's Deutsche Bank Championship looking for a solution. photo Hunter Martin |

Pete's game fell apart today as he struggled to a
second round of 76 to go with his opening round of 75, the nett result
being a missed cut at the opening event of the FedEx Cup Series, the
Barclays at Westchester Country Club in New York.
