Peter is in Wichita in Kansas this week for the Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open. After a much improved effort in round two of last week's Rex Hospital Open in Raleigh, there is encouragment for Peter as he heads into this week's event at the Crestview Country Club.

The problem for Peter has been one or two bad holes per round and if he can find a way to eliminate those issues then he is doing enough good things for him to compete and perhaps contend.

"It is a bit tough at the moment but that is the way it goes," said Peter on Tuesday US time. "On a whole I am playing well but seem to do a couple of reckless things that cost me dearly.

"The course this week is a good one.Perhaps it's a little short with a lot of doglegs.These young fellas will be smashing them across the corners all week.It will be interesting to see if that means the scores will be extra low. All in all I think there is enough danger around the greens to keep the bombers in their place (laughing).

"Last week was a seriously long one and I definitely feel a bit refreshed after having the weekend off (not that I wanted to)."
